Environment and Energy Community Outreach (EECO) Center Programs Underway

The collective efforts of a group of utility companies, educational facilities, community-based organizations, housing and conservation consultants, along with local, state and federal governments have brought to fruition the Energy and Environment Community Outreach Center (EECO)- a state-of-the-art, green facility, soon to be located at the corner of Larimer Avenue and East Liberty Boulevard. Dedicated to the communities it serves, as well as all residents of the city of Pittsburgh, the EECO Center will offer training and education to residents who are looking for ways to lower utility costs, upgrade existing appliances, and train for "green collar" jobs.
