Project Life Line
Project Life Line (PLL) is a family centered program for delinquent and at risk youth. PLL provides
in-home services to adjudicated and at-risk youth and their families through individual counseling and
therapeutic techniques which incorporate case management, anger management, and problem solving
processes. Consultations also involve interaction with schools, mental health professionals and other
service providers involved with the family.
The goal of PLL is to "promote the interpersonal growth and development of referred youth so that they
discontinue their delinquent and at-risk behaviors and function more effectively and productively in their
families, schools, and communities."
Services are provided to youth from 12 to 18 years of age who reside in the City of Pittsburgh and whose
families meet the income eligibility requirements.
PLL receives referrals from the Allegheny County Juvenile Court, the Department of Human Services,
Division of Children, Youth, and Family Services and other social service agencies. Clients can also
refer themselves.
Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments may be made by calling
412-392-6466.
