Our Work Ready staff support customers who are enrolled in the TANF and ABAWD programs to prepare for and seek sustainable employment.
Participants are referred to PCSI by the Allegheny County Assistance Office (CAO). Work Ready participants’ weekly required hours are based on the age of their youngest child. If their child is under the age of six, the participant is required to complete 20 hours. If the participant is pregnant without children, or the children are six and older, they are required to complete 30 hours.
Customer hours are Monday thru Friday:
For 20-hour customers: 10:00 to 2:00 PM
For 30-hour customers: 9:30 to 4:00 PM
All Work Ready program participants are referred to PCSI through the Allegheny County Assistance Office (CAO).
